ד"ר ג'סיקה גארנר היא רופאת משפחה וכותבת בתחום הבריאות, וסיימה את לימודיה בבית הספר לרפואה בשנת 2002.
She then spent a further five years working as a hospital doctor, gaining experience in a host of different specialities, including a spell working as an A&E doctor in Australia. She went on to complete her GP training, qualifying and becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008.
She also writes for publications such as Pulse and GP Online.
